THY-LAN ALCALAY is a New York City–based artist. She is an alumna of Barnard College of Columbia University where she graduated with departmental honors in Dance and Architecture and a specialization in Spatial Design.

She has worked professionally with Colleen Thomas Dance, David Dorfman Dance, Martha Graham II, MOVE|NYC|, and assisted choreographer Roderick George. Alcalay is a 2025 Stefanie Nelson Next Gen Choreographic Winner, a recipient of the Robert and Carol Horne Dance Award, and LaGuardia High School Performance Award. She has performed works by Andrea Miller, A.I.M by Kyle Abraham, Chu This, Francesca Dominguez, Norbert De La Cruz III, Amanda Krische, Lisa Fagan & Lena Engelstein, and VIMVIGOR. She is represented by Stewart Talent.
